How we handle your information

Texas Aqueduct Project is a campaign site from XTEKI. This page covers what happens when you visit the site or sign on.

When you sign on

If you use Sign on, we store:

• Your name
• Your email
• County (optional)
• Where your water comes from, if you pick a chip (optional)

That goes into a private database on our host. We also email a copy to hello@texasaqueductproject.org so we see new sign-ons.

We use this to keep a list of people who want Texas to build this project and to send related updates. We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising.

When you browse

Our host and any analytics we turn on (such as Google Analytics) may collect standard visit data — pages viewed, device type, approximate location, and similar. That is for understanding traffic, not for building a public profile of you.

How long we keep it

Sign-on records stay until you ask us to remove them, or until the project no longer needs an interest list. Visit logs follow our host and analytics retention settings.

Ask us to change or remove it

Email hello@texasaqueductproject.org with the address you used. We will remove or update your sign-on record.
